Stir Fry - Quick, Delicious, Nutritious


Recipe


Ingredients:

Cooked brown rice or noodles

Veggies of your choice...

Onion

Garlic

Pepper

Cabbage

Carrot

Baby Marrow

Mushrooms

Snap Peas

Baby Corn

Broccoli

Cauliflower

Spinach

Green beans


Extras:

Toasted cashews

Tofu

Roasted seeds


Flavouring:

Turmeric

Paprika

Mixed Herbs

Ginger (fresh or ground)

Soy Sauce

Some honey (optional)


Method:

Start with a medium hot pan and some EVOO (extra virgin olive oil). Add the veggies in the following order to achieve an even cook through all.....start with the onions, peppers, green beans, and carrots. Cook for 2 minutes. Add the other veggies and stir fry for a few more minutes. Add the flavourings of your choice and soy sauce. Lastly add the desired extras to the last 30 seconds of cooking. You want half cooked veggies with a crunch. Once the veggies are done, mix through with the rice or noodles.Enjoy.
